On April 14th, opening ceremony for Floriade 2022 was held at the expo site in Almere, the Netherlands.

Floriade is an international horticultural expo which is held in every 10 years. It is an A1 class horticultural expo, whose class is the same as the one of Expo 2027 Yokohama, which will be held in 5 years.

Floriade 2022 will be held for 6 months, until October 9th, 2022. Expo 2027 Yokohama is promoted in the Japanese Garden Pavilion in Floriade 2022.
