Sustainability Initiatives

Based on the regulations, etc. of the International Association of Horticultural Producers (Association Internationale des Producteurs de l’Horticulture (AIPH)), which is the organisation that approves international horticultural exhibitions, the Sustainability Strategy was formulated and submitted to AIPH in March 2024. It prescribes basic policies, objectives, and other matters to deliver a sustainable international horticultural exhibition. We will contribute to the realisation of a sustainable society by publicising initiatives related to issues such as biodiversity conservation and climate action based on the theme, etc. of EXPO 2027 YOKOHAMA JAPAN.

We formulated the Code of Sustainable Procurement in January 2024, which the Association and exhibitors, etc. shall adhere to in the procurement of goods and services, implementation of construction, and other processes.

We established the Grievance Mechanism as a contact to accept reports on non-compliance with the Code of Sustainable Procurement to appropriately process non-compliance cases in October 2024.
