Progress Report on Expo 2027 Yokohama, Japan was presented at the 173rd BIE General Assembly

At the 173rd BIE (Bureau International des Expositions) General Assembly, which was held in the suburbs of Paris on November 28, the Japan Association for the International Horticultural Expo 2027, Yokohama presented a progress report on Expo 2027, Yokohama Japan.
The BIE General Assembly is the supreme body of the BIE with the power to register or accredit international expositions. After the Expo was recognized at the 171st BIE General Assembly in November last year, its progress report will be presented at every General Assembly twice per year.
At this General Assembly, following the speech of Mr. KATSUMATA Masahide, Deputy Director-General, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT), Mr. CHIYO Koichi, Under-Secretary-General of the association gave a presentation on the expo organizer, site plan and promotion activities of the Expo.
