Ceremony to Commemorate Establishment of the Japan Association for the International Horticultural Expo 2027, Yokohama

The first meeting of the governing board for the Japan Association for the International Horticultural Expo 2027, Yokohama, the organization which will handle operations for World Horticultural Exhibition 2027 Yokohama, was held to officially establish the Association. This initial meeting, held prior to the commemoration ceremony for the Association’s establishment, was used to finalize elections of officers as well as the Association’s chairman and vice-chairman.

The subsequent ceremony commemorating the Association’s establishment was attended by special guests Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism SAITO Tetsuo and Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries KANEKO Genjiro, both of whom gave addresses to those in attendance.
