All life is connected, with plants at the heart.
Plants account for more than 80% of the Earth’s total biomass.* For hundreds of millions of years, our planet has been a green planet. Humanity has flourished through the immense benefits provided by plants—from clothing, food and shelter to emotional well-being. However, in the pursuit of rapid prosperity, we have neglected our harmonious relationship with plants and are now confronting the limits of the Earth’s environment.
In this context, there is much we can learn from plants. Operating on fundamentally different timescales and with biological structures distinct from those of animals, plants have created and sustained the Earth’s cyclical systems while forming intricate interconnections with diverse forms of life.
The Themed Pavilion is conceived as an immersive fusion of art and entertainment, grounded in the latest scientific knowledge. It invites visitors to engage, explore and be inspired, encouraging behavioural change based on NbS (Nature-based Solutions) and guiding society towards a nature-positive, circular economy.
